AudioExpert is a tool for managing and organizing your audio media files. Developed by a German company, this application covers several aspects that conventional media handlers do not. The graphics are simply average, nothing outstanding, and yet, they will not overwhelm you with buttons and alerts appearing everywhere. The first step after installation is importing all your audio files. For this task there is a wizard that will help you set the parameters of the import process. Here you will find several fields you may not know what they are for, or some you are just not used to. Do not worry, the program is pretty much self-explanatory, and far from being useless or redundant, these settings will help you make AudioExpert do exactly what you want it to do.
The wizard will then go through your folders looking for audio files and handling duplicates as instructed. You will then see a new library in the interface. This library, however, is no yet the real thing, so to speak - it is just a preview of what it will look like. This is a perfect and rare feature - allowing you to manage, move, and edit anything to make your library look the way you want it before actually creating it.
You can also align the artists or albums with MusicBrainz (a media server which will help you get the correct or missing information on your music files). Once you are happy with your library, AudioExpert will take care of the heavy load of compiling it, copying every file, setting every album artwork, etc. As it supports MP3, WMA, MP4, M4A, Ogg, FLAC, WAV and AAC, you will be able to play most of your audio files from here, search your database phonetically (which means that you will not need to type the name of the artist or album exactly as they are written), and handle your library in about every way you may need.
The web server uses your existing database and presents your Objects
